This stage is full of movement and curiosity. Tiny hands exploring. Wobbly balance. Big emotions in small bodies.
My role is to create space for your baby to simply be who they are.
These images document who your child is becoming, not just what they look like. no forced poses, no pressure, no rush. Just your little one being true to themselves.
Milestone sessions are about honoring who your baby is right now with their curiosity, personality, and the in-between moments you don’t want to forget.
Cake smash sessions are playful but timeless, focused on your baby, their personality, and the joy of turning one.
You don’t need your baby to perform or behave a certain way. There’s no expectation here. Some babies sit still. Some crawl nonstop. Some need extra snuggles. All of it is welcome.
That’s where the beauty lives —
in the honest, unscripted moments
that reflect this season exactly as it is.
That’s completely okay. I never expect a baby to do something they’re not ready for. I gently support and position them safely, and some of the sweetest images happen naturally while they move and explore.
Babies are never expected to perform. We move slowly, take breaks when needed, and follow your baby’s pace. The session stays calm and relaxed so everyone feels comfortable.
A milestone session documents your baby during the in-between stages of the first year — the smiles, expressions, and little personality changes that happen so quickly. It isn’t about a big event, just preserving who your baby is right now. Many parents tell me this is the stage that passes the quickest. Babies change week to week, and milestone photos help preserve the little details that are easy to forget later.
Yes. While the session centers around your baby, I always recommend a few connection images. A parent’s hands or a sibling’s interaction often becomes one of the most meaningful photographs from this stage.
The most popular times are around four months (early smiles and tummy time), six to eight months (sitting stage), and around nine to ten months when personality really begins to show. If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help you decide the best timing.
3 weeks - I promise it’s worth the wait!
Milestone sessions often follow the early days at home, beginning from the newborn days and continuing as your baby grows through the first year.
When you reach out, I’ll share all the details and guide you through what comes next. From there, we’ll thoughtfully plan a milestone session that celebrates this sweet stage.
